Private Cremation Rates and Cost
We currently offer private whole horse cremation services, which begin at $1650.
Private cremation, which involves the cremation of a single horse and the return of the ashes to the owner, tends to be more expensive than communal cremation, which involves the cremation of multiple horses at the same time. It’s important to consider all options to ensure that you are honoring your beloved equine companion in the way you are able.

The cost of horse cremation can vary depending on a number of factors:

Owner Transportation
If you prefer to provide your own transport, you are welcome to make an appointment to bring your horse, donkey, or pony directly to one of our facilities in Georgia or North Carolina.
You are also welcome to choose to arrange for euthanasia services on site. We have a private viewing room available if you would like to witness the cremation.
EPONA Transportation
If your horse, donkey or pony passes away or is euthanized at your home, barn, stables, or veterinary clinic, we can arrange transportation. Using our specifically adapted horse trailer equipped with rescue sleds, our experienced and caring staff will transport your horse individually to our facility.
The weight of your horse, donkey or pony, and your distance from our facility are all factors to take into account to determine the cost of our whole horse cremation services. You can contact us 7 days a week to discuss available options and cost with one of our helpful staff.
Private whole horse cremation takes place with your equine cremated alone in the cremation chamber. Private whole horse cremation is our specialty and we are the only cremation provider with our patented Pet Tracker 360®, which will ensure the ashes you receive are the ashes of your horse. In addition to Pet Tracker 360®, we are the only crematory to allow the entire operation to be available for public inspection through our viewing windows, in our comfortable and private viewing room.

EPONA provides horse cremation services throughout the Southeast US including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, and Tennessee. Many crematories are not equipped to deal with animals as large as horses, so we provide whole horse cremation services throughout the region.
