Our crematory was designed to be able to perform cremations for horses the same way as they are performed for people and our on-site equipment allows for the gentle handling and loading of your beloved horse into our crematory unit.
Once we bring your beloved companion into our care, the entire cremation process can usually be handled within 24 – 48 hours.
Private Cremation
Our private whole horse cremation service offers the same professional aftercare services just as in the human and pet funeral industry. Providing only whole-horse cremation, every horse is cremated alone and treated with the utmost dignity and respect.

From the moment your companion is in our care, they will be accompanied by a Pet Tracker 360® medal, to guarantee that the cremains that are delivered to you are those of your beloved friend. After cremation your horses the ashes can be collected at our facility or they can be delivered directly to your home, for an additional fee.

EPONA organizes the gentle, respectful transportation of your horse in our specially constructed horse trailer to our facilities.
We ensure continuous and respectful care of your companion throughout the entire process. We understand that the way an animal’s body is handled after death is just as important as when they are alive. With us, your horse will be treated with absolute respect and dignity they deserve.
We utilize large animal emergency rescue equipment, specifically the Large Animal Value Glide. The Value Glide is essentially a (thin but very durable plastic) horse-sized stretcher that allows for the humane and gentle handling of the horse’s body. The horse is secured to the glide, which is attached to a winch inside the trailer that pulls the glide with the horse’s body inside the trailer.
