Whether the loss of your equine companion is sudden, or something you’ve anticipated for weeks or months, it is a highly emotional time. Each person experiences grief differently – understanding what to expect during this time may be helpful for you.
We’ve talked to horse parents about their experience with horse aftercare and the loss of a horse, and have developed the following guide to address some common questions and feelings.

Avenue Presbyterian Church in the library of the Hope Building at 600 Seigle Avenue at
the corner of 10 Street in Charlotte. You may attend any number of meetings at no charge.
